Synopsis of April 2011. Data collected at the Amundsen-Nobile Climate Change Tower (CCT; http://www.isac.cnr.it/~radiclim/CCTower/) in Ny-Ålesund. For the temperature, high (upper dot line), mean (solid line), and low (lower dot line) values from the AWI meteorological tower (AWI, in grey) are also reported for comparison. Gruvebadet is located between CCT and AWI. Measurements from the two stations are in good accordance. The grey areas in the figure mark April 18 and April 29.
