The annual cycle of temperature frequency for (a) TX and (b) TN at different thresholds averaged over 25 stations in Saudi Arabia for the period 1978–2019. The thresholds for TX are ≥40°C to ≥50°C with an increment of 1°C interval, while for TN, they are ≤10°C to ≤0°C with a decrement of 1°C interval. The vertical axis (frequency) scales for both panels are not the same.
