The intensity autocorrelation trace shows a 47 GHz optical pulse train. The apparent difference in the pulse width of the consecutive pulses is an artifact inherent to the rotating mirror pair-based autocorrelators. The device under test is a 0.9 mm long 4-MQW active layer device [13].
