Evaluation of the Antimicrobial Effect of the Extracts of the Pods of <i>Piliostigma thonningii</i> (Schumach.) Milne-Redh. (Fabaceae)

<div>The effects of the ethanol crude on protein leakage in <i>C. krusei, M. smegmatis,</i> and <i>P. aeruginosa</i>. The results show the protein leakage assay for the effect of <i>P. thonningii</i> extract on <i>C. krusei</i> (a), <i>M. smegmatis</i> (b), and <i>P. aeruginosa</i> (c). The assay was carried out at varying concentrations of both the drug and extract. The positive control for <i>C. krusei</i> was miconazole, for <i>M. smegmatis</i> was 0.1% SDS, and for <i>P. aeruginosa</i> was ampicillin. <span class="nowrap"><svg height="10.7395pt" id="M1"
