Feasibility of Anesthesiologist-Performed Preoperative Echocardiography for the Prediction of Postinduction Hypotension: A Prospective Observational Study

<div>The maximum inferior vena cava diameter (dIVC<sub>max</sub>) was measured as the maximum anterior-posterior dimension at end-expiration using the leading-edge technique (inner edge to inner edge of the vessel wall). The minimum inferior vena cava diameter (dIVC<sub>min</sub>) was measured at end-inspiration. The collapsibility index was calculated using the built-in software available on the ultrasound systems. IVC: inferior vena cava; dIVC<sub>max</sub>: maximum IVC diameter; dIVC<sub>min</sub>: minimum IVC diameter.</div>
