________________Pain: During surgery, you feel some pain and discomfort while the surgeon is doing the cesarean section.
________________Itching: You are itching all over your body. Scratching does not relieve the itching.
________________Nausea: You want to throw up, but cannot. Your mouth is dry and you are sweating. You feel worse if you move.
________________Nervousness: You are scared and anxious about the surgery.
You are jittery like the feeling you get prior to speaking in public.
________________Shivering: Your large muscles start to shake and the shivering travels to your whole body that shakes uncontrollably.
________________Cramping: You have intermittent abdominal and uterine cramps. You experience waves of spasm and painful cramps.
________________Good recovery: You are lying comfortably in the recovery room. You have no pain and no nausea, feel good, and are able to spend time with your baby.
________________Sleepy: During and after surgery you feel tired and unable to remain awake, drifting off to sleep continuously.
________________Vomiting: You want to retch. You cannot eat or keep any liquids down.
________________Pain: After surgery, your surgical incision really hurts.
