<div>Schematic presentation of the hydrolytic reaction of Ac–L–Met–Gly (a) and Ac–L–His–Gly (b) in the presence of complexes <b>1a–3a</b> in the pH range 2.0 &lt; pH &lt; 2.5 in D<sub>2</sub>O as a solvent and at 37°C. In the reaction with Ac–L–His–Gly, only 1a was catalytically active complex.</div>
