Synthesis and Characterization of Green Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles with Antiproliferative Effects through Apoptosis Induction and MicroRNA Modulation in Breast Cancer Cells

Figure 2

MTT assay analysis. Results were presented as mean ± SD (n = 3). The IC50 value was calculated as 11.16 μg/mL, 26.3 μg/mL, and 60.08 μg/mL for MCF7, HFF, and MDA-MB-231, respectively, after 24 h incubation with ZnO-NPs. The diagrams were performed by Tukey comparison and showed the antiproliferative capacity of ZnO-NPs against HFF (a), MCF7 (b), and MDA-MB-231 (c) cell lines after 24, 48, and 72 hours, respectively. The nonlinear regression sigmoidal dose-response and logarithmic transformation of ZnO concentration showed the logarithmic concentrations tested on cell lines after 24, 48, and 72 hours (d–f). Two-way ANOVA showed a significant level between different times and concentrations of MCF7, HFF, and MDA-MB-231 cell lines (g–i).
