Inhibitory Effect of Flavonoids on the Efflux of -Acetyl 5-Aminosalicylic Acid Intracellularly Formed in Caco-2 Cells
Table 1
The effect of flavonols and transporter inhibitors on the apical and basolateral efflux of N-acetyl 5-aminosalicylic acid in Caco-2 cells. Caco-2 cells grown in Transwells were incubated with 200 M 5-ASA for 1, 2, and 4 hours in the presence of flavonols and transporter inhibitors at the concentration of 100 M. Api: apical efflux of 5-AcASA, Baso: basolateral efflux of 5-AcASA. Each value represents the mean SD of four to five experiments.
