Peptide substrate specificity of the recombinant bovine brain NMT2. The recombinant bovine brain NMT2 assay was measured in the presence of varying concentrations of various peptide substrates (0–1000 μM). The reaction was carried out as described in Section 2. The data shown represent the mean of three replicates. The human NMT1 values were adopted from [28]. Peptides derived from known mammalian N-Myristoyl proteins.
