Theoretical modelling of the polarisability factor 𝑝 of (1), for two values of the nucleus-cytoplasm (𝑁/𝐶) ratio. A reduction of the 𝑁/𝐶 ratio from 0.8 to 0.2 influences the DEP response across a wide frequency range. The dielectric parameters derived by Asami et al. [13] for mouse lymphocytes have been used for this model.
