Quantification of VLP carrying GFP : VP2 fusion protein. (a) CsCl purified fluorescent VLP were concentrated by centrifugation and the pelleted VLP recovered in TNC buffer, spotted on glass slides, and visualized by confocal microscopy. TNC buffer was used as a control. (b) Increasing amounts of VLP-GFP, as measured by protein concentration, were placed in 96-well plaques and fluorescence intensity was measured by direct spectrofluorometry using a TECAN SpectraFluor. Results are representative of 3 independent experiments.
