Extraction efficiency: extraction with: 500 L water, 200 L MeOH, 50 L ascorbic acid (20%) in citrate buffer (pH 3.0), 200 L formic acid, 100 L 20% trichloroacetic acid, and 400 L chloroform in an ultrasonic bath. Recovery rate in dependence to multiple extractions. 4 fold extraction is nearly quantitative. Each reading point was measured in triplicate.
