Z-stack analysis of a mouse single muscle fiber treated overnight with palmitate-oleate-supplemented media demonstrates distribution of LDs throughout the entire muscle fiber. Single muscle fibers isolated from the FDB were doublly stained with BODIPY (493/503-green) and DAPI (blue). Consecutive 1-μm-thick confocal images are shown from Z-stacks taken near the middle of the fiber (63x), and scale bar is provided for reference.
