Immunostaining of retinal cell-type-specific markers was performed with primary antibodies against S100β (Müller glia; (a–c)), SOX9 (Müller glia; (d–f)), PAX6 (amacrine cells; (g–i)), and CHX10 (bipolar cells; (j–l)).
