Stat3 activation promotes nuclear accumulation of β-catenin. (a-b) Nuclear β-catenin expression was determined in MG63 (a) and U2OS (b) cells transfected with plasmids containing empty vector (EV) or Stat3 for 36 hr. Lamin B levels were measured as a loading control. (c-d) mRNA levels of Cyclin D1 and Cyclin E were examined in MG63 (c) and U2OS (d) cells overexpressing empty vector (EV) or Stat3 for 24 hr.
