The relative expression of genes was determined in the injury site of the spinal cord (0.5 cm caudal/rostral): (a) iNOS, (b) IL-10, and (c) TGF-𝛽 genes were analyzed through real-time PCR at 3 h, 7, and 14 days after SC injury in MLIF- or PBS-treated rats. MLIF reduced the relative expression of iNOS and increased IL-10 and TGF-𝛽 (*𝑃<0.05, Mann-Whitney 𝑈 Test). Bars represent the mean ± SEM of 4 rats.
