MALDI mass spectra acquired in positive ion mode on purified OPGs extracted from (a) dgk opgB opgE (ybiP) strain, (b) the opgB opgC strain, (c) the opgB opgC opgE strain, and (d) the opgB opgC opgE strain complemented with the plasmid harboring the opgE gene (pl opgE). The [M+Na]+ molecular ions are indicated on the top of each peak. As examples, arrows indicated the [M+Na]+ molecular ions of DP11 and DP12 substituted by one phosphoethanolamine residue.
