Milan PM1 Induces Adverse Effects on Mice Lungs and Cardiovascular System

Table summarizing significant results in BALf, lung, heart, and blood in sham and PM1-treated mice, 24 h after the last intratracheal instillation. Concerning protein markers in lung and heart tissues, the data were normalized for the corresponding -actin signal in each lane and expressed in relative to sham value. Data distribution was tested by Shapiro-Wilk test; statistical differences were tested by t-test or by non parametric U Mann-Whitney test. The data are expressed as mean ± SE. Sham versus PM1-treated: *P < 0.05; **P < 0.01.
