Sesame Oil Attenuates Ovalbumin-Induced Pulmonary Edema and Bronchial Neutrophilic Inflammation in Mice

The effect of sesame oil on proinflammatory cytokines production in lungs in OVA-treated mice. Sesame oil (0, 0.25, 0.5, or 1 mL/kg, orally) was given to OVA-treated mice and IL-1β (a) and IL-6 (b) levels in BALF were determined. Data were mean ± SD (𝑛=8). Significant differences of measurement traits were analyzed using one-way ANOVA followed by Students’ t-test. *𝑃<0.05 compared with control group; ^#𝑃<0.05 compared with OVA-alone group.
