Transient response of the device ( in function of time at the switching of 0.2 V of gate voltage) for different species in a solution that are magnesium , zinc , potassium , and sodium . The transient behavior for Zn and Mg is similar in shape and this is easily accepted considering that zinc and magnesium have physical constants that are comparable. In the same diagram, differently from the case of Zn and Mg, and with a lower intensity, the ionic current of potassium and sodium is reported.
