Effects of brazilin on glucose-induced expression of NF-κB and CAMs expression in HUVECs: HUVECs (2 × 105 cells/well) were pretreated with a solvent control (0.1% DMSO) or brazilin (50 and 100 μM) for 2 h and then treated with glucose (50 mM) for 30 min to detect the expression of (a) NF-κB and (b) VCAM-1 and ICAM-1. The β-actin was used as an internal control.
