SCN neurons show two E _GABA depending on the region and time of recording, as shown by the relative distribution of the equilibrium potential around −50 mV. Blockade of Cl⁻ transporter NKCCl by bumetanide affected only the potential above −50 mV (𝑊=28, 𝑃=0.01, Wilcoxon test).
