A Novel Promising Strain of Trichoderma evansii (WF-3) for Extracellular α-Galactosidase Production by Utilizing Different Carbon Sources under Optimized Culture Conditions

Effect of temperature on production of α-Gal activity on the fifth and sixth days of incubation in basic culture medium containing different combinations of carbon sources. Two different temperatures, that is, 28°C and 40°C, have been employed. GG + SUC = guar gum + sucrose, SM + SUC = soya bean meal + sucrose, WS + SUC = wheat straw + sucrose, and SM = soya meal. The culture conditions were the same as described in Section 2. The experiments have been conducted three times and the values are shown as mean ± SD.
