The spectrum together with spectra of Fe (2P3/2, 2P1/2) (inset) is presented. The peak at ~715 eV corresponds to Fe 2P3/2 of Fe3+ and the small peak at ~723 eV corresponds to Fe 2P1/2, confirming the formation of magnetite.
