Resveratrol diminishes hydrogen peroxide levels in MCF-7 cells. Peroxide levels were determined by fluorimetry using homovanillic acid (see Section 3). Cells were treated with resveratrol or with estradiol for 48 h. Data are expressed as means + SD for 15 different experiments; ; versus control.
