Effects of ethyl acetate (EtOAc) fraction of Viola tricolor on apoptosis of MCF7 (a) and Neuro2a (b) cells. The cells were treated for 24 h and then incubated with a hypotonic buffer containing propidium iodide and Triton X-100. Then, the cells were analyzed with a flow cytometer. Data are mean ± SEM of three independent experiments performed in triplicate. and versus untreated cells (0 μg/mL).
