Effects of oral treatment with α,β-amyrenone (23.5 μmol/kg), indomethacin (27.9 μmol/kg), or vehicle (10 mL/kg, 0.9% NaCl solution), on paw oedema induced by i.d. injection of carrageenan (300 μg/paw) in mice. Zero (time zero) corresponds to baseline measurement of animals performed 24 hours before the test. Each group represents the mean of 5 to 8 animals, and the vertical lines indicate the SEM.
