Agarose gel electrophoresis of CO₃Ap/pDNA complexes at different concentrations of CO₃Ap following DNase I treatment. Lane 1: 1 kb DNA ladder; Lane 2: 1 µg super coiled pDNA; Lane 3: Naked pDNA; Lane 4: CO₃Ap (4 µL)/pDNA; Lane 5: CO₃Ap (5 µL)/pDNA; Lane 6: CO₃Ap (6µL)/pDNA; Lane 7: CO₃Ap (7 µL)/pDNA; and Lane 8: CO₃Ap (8 µL)/pDNA. All the formulations were prepared in serum-free media and the respective formulations were run on 0.8% agarose gel for 45 min at 75 V.
