Solanine suppressed tumor growth in a xenograft model of pancreatic cancer. (a) 4 × 106 SW1990 cells were injected into nude mice. Three independent experiments with five mice in each group were used in this experiment. After 15 days of injection, mice were fed with solanine at 5 mg/kg. After each 2 days, tumor size was measured in the mice fed with or without solanine. (b) Quantitative RT-PCR results of Bcl-2 and Bax in the xenograft tumor derived cells. Error bars, ±SD. .
