Data are reported as least squares (LS) means and 95% confidence limits (CL). Lesion and tissue volumes are expressed in cc, MD is expressed in , and FA is a dimensionless index. Between-group comparison values were corrected with Tukey-Kramer and the following variables were taken as covariates: therapy (dichotomic variable: yes/no), age, and gender.
