Effect of D. kotschyi (250 µg/mL) on the cytochrome c release in the liver mitochondria isolated from DEN+2-AAF treated rat group. As shown in this figure, pretreatment of with BHT or CsA significantly inhibited cytochrome c release in the cancerous liver mitochondria. The amount of expelled cytochrome c from mitochondrial fraction into the suspension buffer was determined using Rat/Mouse Cytochrome c ELISA kit as described in Section 2.
