The effects of TsES on peritoneal macrophages in septic patients. Macrophages were collected from peritoneal lavage or abdominal cavity flushing fluid in 27 septic patients and 16 control patients and then treated with TsES (5 μg/mL) or the same volume of PBS. Membrane protein fractions were extracted after 6 h in culture. The expressions of TLR2 and TLR4 were detected by western blot (a). The cytoplasmic proteins were extracted after 6 h in culture.
