Myotoxic activity of Parawixia bistriata venom. Solutions from 10 to 200 μg/animal of P. bistriata venom diluted in 50 μL of PBS were applied intramuscularly in mice. The plasma was incubated for 3 min at 37°C with 1.0 mL of the reagent CK-UV. The amount of CK expressed after the phosphorylation of one μmol of creatine/min at 25°C. Negative control: 0.15 M PBS. Test conducted using a kinetic CK-UV Kit (Bioclin, Brazil). #Significantly different from the negative control ().
