Mono: mononucleated, Bi: binucleated, Tri: trinucleated, Multi: multinucleated. Positive control (+): cisplatin (6  g/mL). Negative control (−): untreated cells in culture. CBPI: cytokinesis block proliferation index, that defines whether the cultures are multiplying normally after the addition of samples. The following formula was used according to Kirsch-Volders (1997) [6]: CBPI = 1 (mono) + 2 (bi) + 3 (tri + tetra)/500. Mean cells number followed by the standard deviation.
