Fluorography of total cell lysates from astrocytes (A), neurons (N), and endothelial cells (EC), metabolically labeled with 35S-methionine, as well as from unlabeled endothelial cells, incubated for 24 hours with microvesicles shed from labeled astrocytes (EC + Av) or neurons (EC + Nv). The brackets indicate bands present in both labeled neurons and endothelial cells incubated with vesicles shed from neurons.
