Physical and biochemical parameters of experimental animals. Before MSC administration (eight weeks after diabetes induction), mice received 200 μL of 5% mice plasma (DM) or 0.5 106 MSCs resuspended in 200 μL of 5% mice plasma (DM + MSCs) via the tail vein. All biochemical parameters were evaluated in urine and plasma samples obtained after four hours of fasting. Data are presented as mean SEM, . versus Normal; # versus DM for the same time point.
