Examination of Local Functional Homogeneity in Autism

Figure 2

Group differences in local functional homogeneity between autism spectrum disorder (ASD) patients and healthy controls (HC). The vertexwise significance of group comparisons is measured with signed log10 transformed values and is rendered onto the cortical surfaces of the left hemisphere (LH) and right hemisphere (RH). These inflated surfaces are defined by FreeSurfer as the fsaverage5 surface model and visualized from six different (lateral, medial, posterior, anterior, dorsal, and ventral) views. Light gray colors indicate a cortical gyrus whereas dark gray colors show a cortical sulcus.
