The disrupted microtubule network in arp6Δ was beneficial for AMT process. (a) The loss of ARP6 resulted in disrupted microtubule structure which is similar to the effect of colchicine/oryzalin treatment. (b) The effect of colchicine and oryzalin on AMT efficiency. 5 × 105 yeast cells and 108 bacteria were cocultivated at 20°C for 24 h. The results were the average of three independent experiments.
