Lunasin Inhibits Cell Proliferation via Apoptosis and Reduces the Production of Proinflammatory Cytokines in Cultured Rheumatoid Arthritis Synovial Fibroblasts

Lunasin inhibits the activation of NF-κB in RA synovial fibroblasts in the presence of IL-1β induction. Transfected synovial fibroblasts were coincubated with IL-1β at the dose of 10 ng/mL and lunasin at the designed concentrations for 24 h. Then, the cell samples were collected and the activity of NF-κB was analyzed. Data were mean ± SD for three independent experiments by GraphPad Prism Software Version 5.0. was considered a significant difference when compared with the control.
