Anti-Lung Cancer Activity of the Curcumin Analog JZ534 In Vitro

JZ534 induced lung cancer cell cycle arrest. (a) H460, A549, H1975, and HCC827 were grown for 24 h in RPMI1640 without FBS and then treated with 2 μM JZ534 or curcumin for 24 h. The numbers of cells in the G₀/G₁, S, and G₂/M phases were determined by flow cytometry. (b) Histogram illustrating the rate of cells in the G₂/M phase from three flow cytometric analyses from three separate treatments. The mean of three values was determined (; ).
