Hepatocellular Carcinoma Growth Is Inhibited by Euphorbia helioscopia L. Extract in Nude Mice Xenografts

Figure 1

EAE suppresses tumor growth in vivo. SMMC-7721 cells (2 × 106) were inoculated subcutaneously into the neck region of nude mice (the volume of xenografts was measured once every 5 days) and treated with EAE. (a) The specimen of xenografts from nude mouse. (b) The growth curve of xenografts. The data represent mean ± S.D of xenografts volume and presented a statistical difference (, ). In EAE treatment groups, 200 μg/mL significantly inhibited tumor growth compared to the control group () and better than 5-Fu 200 μg/mL (), EAE 50 μg/mL (), and 100 μg/mL (), respectively.
