Effect of heteronemin on reduction of and release of cytochrome . A498 cells were incubated in the DMSO or 3 μM heteronemin for indicated time, and cells were harvested and prepared for detection, (a) mitochondria membrane potential by using FACScan analysis, (b) release of cytochrome in cytosol for 24 h, and (c) Bcl-2, Bcl-xL, and Bax expression by using western blotting analysis. DMSO was used as the vehicle control (CTL).
