The size of corpus callosum (CC) was determined using the midline sagittal MRI scans. Anterior/genu (1), posterior/tail (2), and medium/tail (3) portions of the CC were measured (a). The CC area was measured manually by drawing a line at the greatest anteroposterior dimension (4) of the CC and another line is drawn perpendicularly at its midpoint. The corpus callosum index (CCI) was calculated as (b).
