Protective Effects of Emodin-Induced Neutrophil Apoptosis via the Ca<sup>2+</sup>-Caspase 12 Pathway against SIRS in Rats with Severe Acute Pancreatitis

<div>Emodin reduced SIRS scores in rats with SAP. The SIRS scores were obviously high in the SAP group, but they decreased significantly after treatment with emodin.
