Intraoperative Contrast Enhanced Ultrasound Evaluates the Grade of Glioma

(a) Ultrasound image shows that the low grade glioma (II level) is partially hyperechoic, the boundary is not clear, internal echo is nonuniform, and edema is not obvious (arrow showed tumor). (b) CEUS shows that the echo of the glioma is enhanced significantly, the boundary is clear, and normal brain tissue is enhanced lower than the glioma (arrows show tumor; triangle shows normal brain tissue).
