Analysis of FT-IR spectrum of the γ-PGA sample. The absorption peak at 3,421 cm⁻¹ was the symmetric stretching vibration band of N-H; 1,649 cm⁻¹ was the asymmetric stretching vibration band of –CONHR; 1,408 cm⁻¹ was the symmetric stretching vibration band of COOH; 1,076 cm⁻¹ was the hallmark peak representing the presence of aliphatic hydrocarbons, -CH₂ or -CH₃ (flexural vibration); 1,000 cm⁻¹–500 cm⁻¹ were caused by (CH₂)_n () planar rocking vibration, as well as in-plane bending vibration.
