Evaluation of the viability percentage of PBMC by MTS assay after 24 h (panel (a)) or 48 h (panel (b)) of exposure with 1 μg/mL, 5 μg/mL, 10 μg/mL, 50 μg/mL, 100 μg/mL, and 200 μg/mL of each fraction. Data are expressed as mean ± SD of two different experiments in triplicate. All statistically significant differences were evaluated with ANOVA nonparametric test, comparing the untreated sample with each of the different concentrations of the four fractions, and are displayed at the top of the corresponding histogram when present (; ).
