<div>Effect of carbon sources on isoprene production. The engineered strain cultured in three different carbon sources including pure glucose, HPAC, and popping enzymatic hydrolysates. The cells were induced when OD<sub>600</sub> reached about 0.6. The experiment was performed in triplicate.</div>
