Basket-Type Catheters: Diagnostic Pitfalls Caused by Deformation and Limited Coverage

For the RA, the anterolateral position (b) showed the best coverage with an average of 53%, compared to 35% in the central position (a). In the LA, the posterior-superior position (c) showed a better mean value of 47% which was due to a better coverage of the roof when compared to the lateral orientation (d). Both CTI in the RA and septal areas in the LA were hardly covered.
